Lamp, Rynearson & Associates, Inc. (LRA) is pleased to announce that Terry Atkins, P.E. has been promoted to Manager of Land Development, an LRA department specializing in community, infrastructure and municipal design. This promotion fills the vacancy created by Tom Marnik, who now leads LRA’s office in Northern Colorado. In his new role, Atkins will continue efforts in client and project management, department management, and marketing.

Atkins, formerly a Senior Project Manager for LRA, has more than thirteen years experience in leading sewer separation, water resources, land development, and redevelopment projects. He is currently managing two major redevelopment mixed-use urban projects; Aksarben Village and Midtown Crossing at Turner Park. Atkins is part of the LRA team solving sewer separation issues in east Omaha. His experience also includes management of suburban residential projects such as the Elk Ridge development at 192nd and Blondo Street.

Some of Atkins’ civic recognitions include Leadership Omaha and the Midlands Business Journal’s “40 under 40”. He is enrolled in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executives Institute, an extensive leadership development program. Atkins is also a member of Downtown Kiwanis, and the Watershed by Design Technical Committee.

Lamp, Rynearson & Associates is an Omaha, Nebraska-based civil engineering consulting firm, serving the greater Omaha area since 1959. LRA has a second office in Northern Colorado.
