Local chambers elect board officers

The chambers of commerce for both Loveland and Greeley have announced their board officers and members for 2010.
Marilyn Schock, recently named CEO of McKee Medical Center, will serve as chair of the Loveland chamber's board of directors, and Christine Kapperman of the Loveland Reporter-Herald will serve as chair elect. Dave Clark, owner of Clark Construction Co. and former Loveland city council member, is treasurer; Miki Roth, community relations chairperson for the Loveland Berthoud Association of Realtors, is secretary; and Mark Weaver moves from chair to chair emeritus.
The Greeley chamber elected 10 new members at its December board meeting. Joining the board are Felecia Burke, North American Title; Bob Ghent, Ghent Chevrolet and Cadillac; Andy Greenberg, The Bike Peddler; Judy Jackson, Cottonwood Florist; Amy Patterson, Cache Bank & Trust downtown branch; Kris Pickett, Lamp Rynearson & Associates; Rick Thomas, Ace Hardware of Greeley; Sally Warde, Northern Colorado Paper; Ernie Ybarra, Ernesto Ybarra Insurance; and Bob Stack, School District 6.
Also elected for one-year terms as reporting members were Sean Conway, Weld County Commissioner; John Gates, Greeley City Council; Abe Harraf, University of Northern Colorado; and Steve Moreno, Weld County Clerk and Recorder.
Paul Knapp, New West Bank, will serve as chair of the board for 2010; Gary Gomer, Kennedy & Coe LLC, chair-elect; and Steve Weaver, Swift Communications, treasurer. Elected to serve as vice presidents and members of the Executive Committee were Jim Elsberry, Monfort College of Business; Doug Lidiak, Lidiak Enterprises; and Michelle Marison, Home-Team Lending.
