Landscape Architect, Matthew Gaber was a pivotal member of a multi-disciplinary team which created and implemented a master plan for the complete restoration of 45 year old 200 unit low-income apartment complex. The plan created a series of multi-layered private spaces and courtyards, residents are able to establish strong relationship with the outdoors yet maintain privacy and defensible space. Simple geometries and clear hierarchies of paths and trees further reinforce the sense of space.
