Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements

With wastewater flows approaching the design capacity of the existing treatment system, the City of Paola, Kansas looked to us for solutions. The team carefully evaluated options including the design of a new wastewater plant and modifying the existing lagoon. A report involving capital cost estimates, operation and maintenance costs for each alternative was prepared, and the decision made to construct a new mechanical wastewater treatment plant. The existing lagoon was modified for use as a stormwater holding basin.
