LRA knows airports and is recognized for its talents in designing and managing aviation projects. We keep lines of communication open and regularly involve the client in the design process. LRA understands the current federal criteria required for airports and prepares master plans in minimum time. We have completed more than one hundred projects at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield since 1994. Our work includes aircraft movement plans, loading bridge (jet bridges) designs, parking plans, access roads, security fencing, storm sewer design, navigational aids, and all other aspects of airport facilities. LRA knows FAA requirements inside and out, and thoroughly understands funding resources. Our innovative in-house GIS team assists with air space analysis, and pavement, utility and property/facility management services.
Metropolitan or small municipal, we help airports with runway and taxiway design, NAVAID siting and design, airfield and approach lighting and aircraft parking – all without shutting down operations.
